Import Regulations in Luxembourg

The required documents are as follows: passport; Work Permit; Certificate of Residence obtained from the Commune; Customs Declaration (in French); Medical Certificate.

Holders of residence cards may bring in used household goods and personal effects duty-free if in customer's possession for at least six months prior to move.

The following items are dutiable/restricted: alcoholic beverages and new furniture.

The next items are prohibited to import to Luxembourg: firearms, drugs, ammunition, articles derived from endangered species such as ivory.
