Import Regulations in Dominica

The required documents are original Bill of Lading plus one copy; original invoice plus one copy; inventory.

Returning residents may import one vehicle per family duty free. Only one electrical item of each type may be imported duty free per family. The additional amount is dutiable.

The prohibited items are as follows: candles; plastic bags; toiletries; cooking oil; paints; soap; new wooden furniture.

The restricted goods are 25 gallons of paint per household per year. 2 gallons cooking oil every three months.
