Commodities in the Czech Republic are classified in accordance with the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union, as in the EU system of goods classification and marking. Many European and non-European countries use the same nomenclature, a practical arrangement for finding customs tariffs, import and export documents, preferential agreements and the like. Besides, the Czech Republic uses the same system of goods classification in tax laws and licence regulations.
